Jodel DR1050M - Flugplatz Husum - The DR1050M Excellence was part of a broader family of Jodel aircraft | The DR1050M Excellence was part of a broader family of Jodel aircraft that included the Ambassadeur, Sicile, and Sicile Record variants, with at least 618 units built between 1958 and 1965. The design was later developed further by CEA into the DR200/220/250 series and subsequently the Robin DR400 series. Today, the aircraft remains popular among private pilots and homebuilders, with some examples still in active service and available for sale, such as a 1964 model listed for €58,000 with a Continental O-200A engine and modern avionics.
